Does anyone know when population-weighted centroids for the 2011 OAs will become available?  For 2001 OAs the relevant x y coordinates were included within the file, but this hasn't happened in the latest release.  Grateful for any information. Thanks.

Hi Alison.

The population weighted centroids are now available for OA / LSOA / MSOA on the ONS website at:

http://www.ons.gov.uk/ons/guide-method/geography/products/census/spatial/centroids/index.html

They are not integrated into the spatial files as in 2001 but can be matched to their relevant geogrpahies using the ONS geography codes.
