Subject: LARIA 2013 Annual Conference

1.  LARIA 2013 Annual Conference

Posted 18-02-2013 13:10
The LARIA 2013 Annual Conference will be held at Manchester University on Monday 13th and Tuesday 14th May 2013. More details of the Conference, including a booking form, can be found on the LARIA website at

For the first time, the conference programme will include a strand dedicated to health and social care data that has been organised in collaboration with the HSUG. We are pleased to announce that Prof John Newton, Chief Knowledge Officer of Public Health England, will be attending to give the Keynote Address.

LARIA now represent local area researchers and not just local government researchers so this conference will be a great opportunity for research and intelligence professionals in the health field to network with colleagues across the whole of the public sector including local authorities, crime and community safety and local economic performance and resilience.
