Posted 16-06-2014 11:22
This message has been cross posted to the following Discussions: Population Statistics and Consultations .

ONS produces official population estimates for the UK and its constituent countries, the regions of England and Wales, local authorities and other geographic areas within England and Wales. They provide details of the number of people usually resident within each area on 30 June of the reference year. In particular, small area population estimates include figures for both statistical geographies (eg Super Output Areas) and sub-regional administrative geographic areas (eg wards, parliamentary constituencies and health areas).

This consultation includes two main topics: the future of the publication of population estimates for health areas and a request for information on the uses made of small area population estimates in general, including your views on the quality of the products.

To take part, in this short consultation, please read and complete our consultation document.
Opening date: 16 June 2014
