The Statistics User Forum (SUF), supported by the Office for National Statistics, aims to be the strategic voice of users of official statistics. The Forum acts as an umbrella organisation for user groups, each of which covers a particular area across the spectrum of official statistics. Through the Forum we enable open and constructive dialogue between users and producers of official statistics and encourage communication across the user community.

The Royal Statistical Society will be staging an early evening meeting to discuss 'The Future of the Retail Prices Index (RPI)'

    Wednesday 13 June 2018, 6:00pm

If you are interested in contributing to the discussion in this way, please email as soon as possible; thank you.

We ask that everyone who wishes to speak should ideally prepare and submit, by 1st June, a note of up to 800 words which sets out the point/s they wish to make. All such contributions, whether or not you are able to speak on the day, can then be published via the RSS's website, on a page which will be devoted to this meeting. The combination of these written contributions and the video-filming of this event will help to provide an authoritative record of the discussion that takes place.
