The Statistics User Forum (SUF), supported by the Office for National Statistics, aims to be the strategic voice of users of official statistics. The Forum acts as an umbrella organisation for user groups, each of which covers a particular area across the spectrum of official statistics. Through the Forum we enable open and constructive dialogue between users and producers of official statistics and encourage communication across the user community.

    Dear SUF colleagues,

Questions about the future of statistics post-Brexit have been raised at SUF from time to time, though we have never got much information back from ONS on this. However, the UKSA has now published, by way of precaution, its planning in the event of a no-deal exit from the EU. With apologies for any cross-posting, please see the message and links here.

Do let me know if you have any particular concerns about UK statistics post-Brexit. This is something we will should touch base on, during the next SUF meeting (now being arranged for early March, details to follow from the User Insight and Engagement Team shortly.

    Thanks.

    Paul
